Our Commitment to You
At Incisive Thought, we believe in standing behind our educational offerings. This policy outlines when and how refunds are processed for our budget control learning programs.
Last updated: January 2025. This policy applies to all program enrollments beginning March 2025 and onwards.
Full Refund Eligibility
- Requests made within 14 days of initial enrollment
- Less than 15% of course materials accessed
- No completion certificates issued yet
- Technical issues preventing program access that we couldn't resolve within 7 business days
- Program cancellation by Incisive Thought before start date
Partial Refund Scenarios
- Requests between 15-30 days: 50% refund available
- Medical or family emergencies with documentation
- Military deployment with official orders
- Program changes that significantly alter original offering
- Pro-rated refunds for multi-month enrollments in specific cases
How the Refund Process Works
Submit Your Request
Contact us at support@incisivethought.com with your enrollment details and reason for requesting a refund. Include your full name, program name, and enrollment date.
Review Period
Our team reviews your request within 3-5 business days. We may reach out for additional information or documentation, especially for special circumstance requests.
Decision Notification
You'll receive an email detailing whether your refund was approved, the amount, and the expected timeline. We explain our decision clearly in all cases.
Processing Payment
Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. The funds return to your original payment method, though your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
Common Refund Situations
Changed My Mind Early
If you enrolled but realized the program isn't right for you within two weeks and haven't gone through much content, you're typically eligible for a full refund.
Technical Problems
When platform issues prevent you from accessing materials and we can't fix them promptly, we'll either offer a full refund or extend your access period at no charge.
Life Happens
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. Medical emergencies, family situations, or sudden job changes may qualify you for consideration beyond standard timelines.
Course Not as Expected
If the program content significantly differs from what was described in our marketing materials, contact us within the first two weeks for potential refund eligibility.
Already Completed
Programs where you've completed more than half the materials or received a certificate aren't eligible for refunds, as you've received the educational value.
Group Enrollments
Corporate or group enrollments have separate refund terms outlined in your agreement. Individual participants should contact their enrollment coordinator first.
Processing Times by Payment Method
Credit or Debit Cards
Refunds appear within 5-7 business days after processing. Your bank statement will show the credit from Incisive Thought. Some banks may take up to 10 business days to post.
Bank Transfers
Direct bank transfer refunds typically process in 7-10 business days. We'll need your current banking details if they've changed since enrollment.
Digital Wallets
Payments made through digital wallet services usually see refunds within 3-5 business days. The refund goes back to your wallet balance automatically.
Installment Plans
If you paid in installments, we'll refund completed payments and cancel future charges. Partial month refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis.
